Online or virtual closings was born out of the COVID 19 pandemic when rules and regulations were adapted by the legal and financial community to enable virtual closing of real estate transactions. These changes have removed the strict necessity to meet in person with a lawyer.
This has created an opportunity for buyers or sellers of property to work with any law firm, without having to resort to a local firm which may or may not be fully experienced in the intricacies of closing a real estate transaction along with the convenience of using digital technology.
